It’s definitely spring…

Or summer, I can’t figure it out. It’s like 60 degrees outside and it’s not even 9am. It’s supposed to be 79 today and 82 tomorrow.

Went for a “recovery” run yesterday, or at least that’s what I’ll call it because I am still sore from the 5K. I did 2 miles on the treadmill yesterday, and then spent a good 40 minutes doing abs and weights. 

It felt good.

Then I went to see the boy play. I’ve def started to tone up, and can see some great definition in my arms and legs, so instead of wearing a pair of baggy jeans and a tank top, I work this stretchy little black skirt and a black tank top with a back cut out. I got so many complements, from everyone at the show. It was a great feeling to have, and reminds me that even though the numbers might not be going down on the scale, my body is still changing for the better.


I have a friend coming into town today, so while I probably won’t run for the next couple of days, there will be plenty of walking and carrying heavy shopping bags. I’m pretty pumped.
