It was hot.
It was a 2.5 mile run from work to the field where we do bootcamp once a week… and it was probably the longest 2.5 miles I’ve ever ran. It was hot, it was humid and no amount of splashing my face with water could cool me down. I thought I was going to pass out half way through, and started making a game of “run into the shade”.
I made it in 25 minutes… so at least I kept a steady pace. In the crazy crazy heat.
And then we did circuit drills and tire flips.
As the owner of the company said “Amanda’s glowing,” aka. pouring out gallons upon gallons of sweat.
10K is on Sunday… hopefully it’s not 85 at 7:00am again. Or else I just might die.
