So it’s been a bit…

Since I’ve actually written something here.

I’m in the midst of Spartan Training.

For those of you who are new to my blog, I’m running the Spartan Race at Fenway Park as part of Team in Training (To Benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society). As part of the team, we have weekly workouts around the area. This past Saturday, we were at Blue Hills Reservation, and ran up and down the mountain/ski slope twice and did some circuit training in the woods. It was all kinds of awesome, and I’m still sore.

I am about 35% of the way to meeting my donations goal – every dollar helps. So if you feel inclined, here is the link to my fundraising page.

But anyways. Something startling has also been happening. I’ve been having fainting spells and last night, it felt like something was sitting on my chest all night. I have never felt pain like that before. My boyfriend asked me if I thought I pulled anything during a work out, but I don’t know if it was that. Anyone ever experienced things like this, and were they workout related? I went to the doctor on Friday, and they are waiting for my blood tests to come back.

I’m heading out for a 5 mile slow run today… hopefully it makes me feel a little better. Haven’t really been on a run longer than a couple miles for awhile, so we’ll see how it goes.

Also, doctor’s scale weighed me in a 155?! I was so pissed. But, at the same time, I can see changes in my body, and I like them. So the real question is… why would I let this number bother me so much?
