I went to yoga for the first time in almost a year last night, with my workout partner (who had never done yoga before!)
I immediately remembered why I fell in love with it.
The hot room. The poses. Laughing along with the instructor. Feeling my body move and stretch. Letting the negative thoughts leave my mind along with bucket loads of sweat.
I left feeling like a new person.
I’m definitely going to make it a priority to mix in yoga with my running and strength training. It’s totally necessary for my mind.
