A couple weeks ago I talked about getting outside of your comfort zone. Today, I did just that. I went to a November Project Wednesday workout at Harvard Stadium.
Usually, they run the stairs. Today, due to the ice and snow and general feeling that we were going to spill and hurt ourselves, we did sprints, rolls and squat jumps instead!
I’m going to go out on a limb here, and say this was one of the most epic workouts ever with probably the most epic group of people I’ve ever met. Never did I feel like I was the weird outsider person who was coming to workout for the first time. In fact, within 3 minutes of getting to the top of section 37 to sign in, I was hugged by two people. I also got some awesome #GrassrootsGear, aka, they spray painted the November Project logo on my New Balance running jacket.
I’ll definitely be running with them again next Wednesday – hopefully to do some stairs!
